So, if you're interested and have some down time at work, or find yourself bored on a Sunday afternoon, or need to procrastinate on some unexciting but necessary thing you have to do, feel free to check out my blog and keep up with my happenings. I promise to fill you in on all the crazy things I do and say, no matter how utterly humiliating. (If that's not a good reason to read, I don't know what is!) I'll let you know when my 4th graders say something hilarious, or when I totally mess up a lesson and teach something absolutely false in a science lesson.
To live and work overseas is a dream come true; I keep thinking of that as I pack and say all these goodbyes. But it's still so hard - and definitely getting harder. I somehow always can focus on the new beginning and let the thing that's ending slip away easily. Not today. Not this ending. So while I'm trying to figure out how to cram a years worth of clothes, teaching materials, sentimental stuff, and all the miscellaneous things that I can't live without but they don't have in China (i.e. deodorant!) into two 50-lb.-or-less suitcases, know that I'm thinking of the people that I'm leaving behind. Well, I'm off to go repack; maybe it will all fit this time...

Hey Linda! Yea for starting a blog! I am so so so happy and excited for you as you leave very soon for China. I am so glad that God has opened this door to you (in closing the door on the Phillipines). I will miss you as we were just starting to hang out together more, but I know this is where God wants you and I look forward to hearing about many adventures. I'll def keep you in prayer! Keep me in prayer as I am looking into a similar option in teaching English abroad maybe next year. Who knows...
Hey Linda! I miss you so much! I think I miss you even more knowing you are so far away. Let us know how things are going and that you got there safe. I seriously cannot wait to here what you're thinking about everything. Love ya!
